Breeders Please ANSWER..?

I have a purebred puppy I recieved from a breeder. I have full registration AKC. It is from very nice bloodlines. Now there is NO contract stating I have to sell it back or give it back if I cannot keep the puppy. I know it's the right thing to do, is give the puppy back to the breeder if I cannot keep the puppy. I have been considering rehomeing her, but having it fixed first. However I tried talking to the breeder. The breeder called claiming that someone told them I'm selling the dog when i havnt even gotten to that point. I said no, they asked whats going on I tell them the current news the phone gets disconnected I try to call them back and there is NO answer they're ignoring my calls? So what do i do? What is the best way to proceed? I know I should rehome the puppy with the breeder IF i'm going to rehome it that is, However how can i rehome it if they arn't even taking my calls? What do i do? Do i get the pup fixed and rehome it myself? Do i try and try to get ahold of the breeder whom lives in another state? I can't drive there my vehicles are not wanting to be reliable at this time plus the drive is around 10-12hrs. I don't know what to do? The breeder is unavailable and avoiding my phone calls, there was'nt a contract signed. So am i obligated to involve the breeder if they arnt even taking my calls? I am unsure as what to do? I usually am really good at giving the advice however.. I just can't figure out the solution to my own problem, I have ALOT on my plate right now stress wise besides this dog issue so i just can't seem to focus on it in the right way to come to a solution so please if you're a breeder or can give me a different view on what to do i could really use the advice.
