Upgrading from Schecter omen 6 guitar, advice?

So I would like to upgrade from my omen 6, it is a very nice guitar, however I definitely needa guitar with more "power" and I was thinking of the Schecter C-1 BlackJack ATX FR. Im open to your guys advice for a guitar to purchase, Im looking to play metal, , and that area,bands such as A Day to Remember, Atreyu, Attack Attack!, just to give you a general idea. So what guitar should I purchase? Also, if anyones intrested in purchasing an omen 6... :P Im looking for a $900 range, but if you have a reccomended guitar for a little over im still interested, thanx guys
