What do you think of this Pagan/Christian/Feminist story?

If done well it could be interesting, but stories like this have to be written carefully to avoid feeling too "preachy". Take a step back, decide which parts of the story actually contribute to the narrative and which parts are your own ideas/agenda, and figure out a way to weed out some of the overt preachiness. Subtlety is key here.
