What are different ways for you to determine what the baby is without a sonogram?

alot of people say old wives tale doesn't work i agree as well but i do it for fun to :] theres no harm in it right? hehe well my mom show me this thing about getting a cup full of rice and you use two fingers only like a chopstick and pick up the rice [only once] then you count it if its odd number then its a boy if its even number then its a baby girl :] and theres the whole if you crave sour its a girl if you crave sweets its a boy and the carrying low then its a boy and high is a girl hehe theres alot more :] but cant think of any right now
