Does this sound like a good idea for a manga/anime?

It starts in a part futuristic and part feudal world where with a rich teen who's father is the rulers of a large city.His father refuses to enforce the rules of the demon emperor so the the emperor decides to go to the city and have the kid's family killed.The emperor does not know that the kid exists and the emperor leaves after killing the kid's family.Leaving one of his generals and his army there in charge temporarily.The kid finds out that they killed his family and he goes into this place in the woods where he hangs out and freaks out.Than he finds this weird stone page way with this huge symbol on it.He enters the page way and there are these symbols everywhere.He comes to this place where he sees this sword that has the same symbol on it in one of those japanese sword holding things and reads this prophecy on the wall behind it and it says that whoever takes this sword shall become a great warrior to end great evil.He takes the sword and feels this weird energizing feeling to it.The kid decides to go fight the general to get revenge.The kid and general and his men fight in a huge battle.The kid kills the army and the general.He decides to travel and end the rule of the emperor.Along the way he meets some masters that train him and he meets a few other powerful warriors that are willing to fight for his cause.It is a action/comedy.I want to know what people think about it.
