PLEASE HELP??? Are people really so different?

Could it be that we feel that we all are so very different when truly we are all alike? This has been on my mind, dealing with some complex relationship concerns. so I want to understand how I feel at times; people are so different but yet they are so similar? Have you not met a person you hate that is like a bad uncle in your family? It seems like we have every type of person outside of our bloodline as well as within our bloodline. It is quite strange that we sometimes run from the very thing that is close to us? I want to know what you personally think? Please help?
